Our house in Areco

On the 11Th November Argentina celebrates its gaucho traditions in a festival called Dia De la Tradicion.

On the weekend we went to San Antonio De Areco. Our bus was late so the caretaker of the house we were staying at didn't think we would come so she left. We had to wait and wait and wait in the pouring rain. Sofia and I climbed the fence so we were nice and dry but my mum and Lucia were soaking wet, I felt sorry for them. Then the caretaker came and showed us the house. We went out because the rain had stopped. We went for lunch then to the festival where there were rodeos with horses, races with horses and almost everthing with horses.

The next day there was a parade in the plaza of all the gauchos and horses that competed in the events.

My favourite part about Dia de la Tradicion was the horse rodeo.

Villa Carlos Paz

Me and Sofia playing wacky gator.

On the twenty-ninth of October we went to La Falda. We had a great time. When we got there, there was a dog. Sofia got so scared she started to act like a scardy pants but the dog was harmless and it couldn't run because it was too old, seven yrs old.

We went around the neighbourhood and went to Neverland and we had had great time there too. There were so many games I can't name them all! The same went for the three other days.

At the hotel there was a swimming pool and we went swimming every day.

On the last day Sofia got used to the dog.

We miss La Falda, the dog and the pool!
